A further update for you, which will be very quick as I am very tired (just got back from work (!!)). Anyway, LDL is still progressing well; I am currently working on what will, for now, be the dialect of description that the user will have to write in.
It is going well but I am trying to put in as much error detection as possible before releasing it so that you don't get into situations where rooms are overlapping and it's not obvious what has gone wrong :-). I think that most of you will not appreciate how important it is to me to get this out ASAP and I do intend to do that -- hopefully later today (Sunday) but if not then definitely Monday as I need to get some feedback from you on it within the next week if at all possible (though if you can provide feedback within 12 days that would be fine -- I just need as much as I can get as fast as it can reasonably be sought). Anyway, more on the feedback I wish for later (I'll send some questions 'round). For now, if you want a very brief taster of LDL, take a look at the tutorial I've been working on at http://mta.agrip.org.uk/ldl.html (this will be updated as time goes on). Oh, and if anyone can recommend an accessible XML (not HTML) editor that they use, please let me know. It might make making maps a bit simpler until I can create a full front-end program. Time to eat, then sleep! take care and I hope to have a lot more exciting stuff for you very soon :-). -- Matthew Tylee Atkinson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ AGRIP-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agrip.org.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/agrip-discuss
