Well the paper went in earlier this week -- many thanks to those that
replied to our survey -- and, following that, I just had to take a day
off to recover. Unfortunately we only got 7 replies to our survey, so I
think that the chances are very slim and can't say I'm not disappointed
about that (I realise it was short notice; the situation couldn't really
be avoided so I just tried to get it to a usable state ASAP). Maybe --
but it's a long shot -- the reviewers will give me a second chance if I
can get more feedback by the end of this month (there is a rebuttal
period in which I can state a case as to why the paper should be
accepted).

Now I do intend to improve LDL a lot in the very near future, according
to feedback and adding features I wanted to before. However if I do
improve it I will need to ensure that feedback is coming for a
particular release. So I intend to, over the weekend and early next
week, improve things to a state where it can be re-tested and if anyone
is able to do so, over the next 3 weeks (a little more notice :-)) it
would be much appreciated.

One snag I have hit at the moment is that my computer's zoom function is
not working properly so I am really finding it hard to read the text
on-screen. I hope to get some help in fixing this over the weekend.

I'll keep you updated.

Best regards,
