Hey there: I've got yer contact details so I'll give ya a detailed answer to as many of your questions as I can when I get back from running some errands... marriage ya know... but just a quick warning before I go, Don't use the install inside windows option if you can avoid it, better to have a second partitian or drive for linux, and have your real windows install cd handy if you ever need the recovery console to wipe out the grub boot loader and restore your ntfs one.
