Chris and Cara,

Thank you very much for your reply.
Which compiler was used to compile JQ? I tried fteqcc, but it returns with an error in hooks.qc. Also, is there a quake reference somewhere regarding the various player effects, built in engine functions, etc? Just trying to avoid delving into the source every time I'd like to look up something :grin.

Cheers,
Rob

   Rob;

I just saw Kriss's note to you and the list. Kriss is right that I actually
don't seem to have a copy of 4.2.

HOwever, I can tell you that there are only two changes at most from 4.1 to
4.2 which make it behave better with MAUTH and the ZQuake updates in the engine
that was used with the latest AQ build.

I'll detail this more when I have the time.

For now though, I am still looking though in the case that a copy is hiding out
somewhere, so I'll keep you abreast of the situation.

Thanks so much for your interest and to everyone whose been asking about JQ and
AQ of late, sorry I've been so scarce. I, like Matthew and SEbby am just so
crazy busy. -My apologies and I do hope to get more actively involved again
with JQ.

Have a great day! You guys rock!

Smiles,

Cara :)

Hi,

Could anyone be so kind and send me JediQuake 42's source code along with the
Quake C compiler please?
Also, I am quite familiar with C, but anything tutorial-wise would be great to
put my hands on.

Cheers,
Rob
