Hi there, At first, the update of today is there: http://aq.krisspace.net/src-jq43b-Feb-4th-2011.zip In this, as I promissed, the blaster has been modified. Ryan, I'm sorry, I didn't add your blaster suggestion for the automatic fire, as I don't have any idea of how to make it different enough from the other modes. But, this modification is important I think. Now, the bouncing blaster will cause more damage than the standard one, and the standard will cause less than it was causing until now. I did this because I was hearing all the time people saying "wow what a cool blaster", when they play on my server... And why? Simply because noone knows the existance of the standard blaster bolts. As I'm using it myself, I know that standard blaster is much more powerfull than bouncing, and there for I modified it. BTW, don't cry if you get blasted by me on Andre's server, as I've configured standard blaster fireing in my configs mouahahahaha! ... OK am gonna drink a cup of coffee and shut up... * confused *
Secondly, I decided that I'd made enough modifications since the previous publication in QMOD file. So, there is the QMOD installer: http://aq.krisspace.net/jediquake43b-update1.qmod I wanted this to put the update directly into the existing jediquake43b folder, but because of a bug in the QMOD installer (start.pl), this doesn't work properly. So, if you use the QMOD, a "new mod" will be added to your list, called "JediQuake Beta, Update 1". I know that a lot of people use Andre's portable version, so here is the zip, as the qmod won't work. http://aq.krisspace.net/jediquake43b-update1.zip For those people who are using the portable version, simply delete the existing jediquake43b folder and unzip this archive into the AudioQuake directory. Please, if someone could publish this two links and explanations as the last time, it would be cool. Thanks. *smiles* Finally, specially for Elliott and Tonny, my apologies. While testing my own script for the automatic servers restarting, I saw there is an enourmous bug... I'm stupid, it is so... So, here is the updated script: http://aq.krisspace.net/chk_aq_procs.sh This should work properly... I have no Linux to test this for the moment, but the only problem that can appear is that you'll have to wait until two minutes to get the two servers restarted, but the probability to have two servers down at the same time isn't so big... Sorry once again. Take care, Smiles, Christoff _______________________________________________ AGRIP-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agrip.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/agrip-discuss
