Ilm - 16th Dhul-Qa'da 1423 (20 January 2003) Narrated by Anas (Radhiallaho anho): Whenever the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) asked permission to enter, he knocked the door thrice with greeting and whenever he (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) spoke a sentence (said a thing) he (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) used to repeat it thrice.
