Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

At-Taqsir - 8th Jumada-ath-Thani 1424 (7 August 2003)

Narrated by Aisha (Radhiallaho anha):
(the mother of the faithful believers) Allah's Messenger
(sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (in his last days) used to
pray sitting. He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) would recite
while sitting, and when thirty or forty verses remained from
the recitation he (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) would get
up and recite them while standing and then he (sallallaahu
'alaihi wasallam) would bow and prostrate. He (sallallaahu
'alaihi wasallam) used to do the same in the second Raka.
After finishing the prayer he used to look at me and if I
was awake he would talk to me and if I was asleep, he
(sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) would lie down.
