Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Jana'iz - 20th Shawwal 1424 (15 December 2003)

Narrated by Ibn Abbas (Radhiallaho anho):
A person died and Allah's Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi
wasallam) used to visit him. He died at night and (the
people) buried him at night. In the morning they informed
the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (about his
death). He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, "What
prevented you from informing me?" They replied, "It was
night and it was a dark night and so we disliked to
trouble you." The Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam)
went to his grave and offered the (funeral) prayer.
