Zakat-al-Fitr - 19th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1425 (10 May 2004) Narrated by Abu Said Al Khudri (Radhiallaho anho): In the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam), we used to give one Sa' of food (edible things) as Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (to the poor).
