Dear Rajni
anyway if your aim is a quick spatial estimation there are some instruments 
that implement some specie of generic variogram by itself and return the 
interpolated data directly. Kriging made with Surfer is basically implemented 
with an automatic variogram fitting...so you can use Kriging not knowing 
neither what a variogram is. Obviously the results are questionable...the basis 
of geostatistics, that is the knowledge of spatial autocorrelation of data, 
come to miss...it depends on the targets.
