Hi List, Does any one knows a method for change of support when attempting the interpolation of categorical variables (i.e. an attribute which might take a limited number of classes which are not ordered, p.e. facies)?, I have only data from well cores and I'm trying to interpolate the presence of facies in cells which are 20m x 20m x 0.15m in a coal seam
I've been checking the affine correction or indirect lognormal methods (Isaaks and Srivastava, 1989; p. 471), but it seems to me that these only apply for continuous numerical variables, is this correct?
