I agree with Rami's suggestion. I'll wait until Mike and Marc respond and add the copyright statements to all source files.

Sincerely,

Richard van den Berg

And perhaps Mike and Marc can also claim some copyright as well.
I think some of your patches are included as well.

Hi,

Debian Quality Assurance has pointed me to the fact that the Debian
packaging debian/copyright file doesn't hold a proper copyright
statement such as "Copyright YYYY by John Doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>".

However, the current aide release doesn't have a clear copyright
statement as well.

What do you want me to write in debian/copyright, which currently has
the following contents:

----
This package was debianized by Mike Markley [EMAIL PROTECTED] on
Thu, 17 Feb 2000 13:57:06 -0500.

It was downloaded from ftp://ftp.cs.tut.fi/pub/src/gnu/ and is
currently available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/aide

Upstream Authors: Rami Lehti <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
                  Pablo Virolainen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Debian packaging is done by Mike Markley and Marc Haber.

It might also be a good idea to have a "proper" copyright statement in
your sources as well.

Please advise.

Greetings
Marc
