It seems that there is some instability in your network connection, with
data getting corrupted.
Please try again with the following terminal commands
sudo rm
/var/lib/apt/lists/archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise_main_i18n_Translation-en
ping -c 10 archive.ubuntu.com
sudo apt-get update
echo 'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'
sudo apt-get update
and copy/paste all output into this question document as done before.
