JS confirmed that the question is solved:
la ligne "options snd-hda-intel model=medion" insérée à la fin du
fichier /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf ne suffit pas à résoudre le
problème après une réinstallation ... :-(
par contre, après quelques tests complémentaires, la ligne "options snd-
hda-intel enable_msi=0" fonctionne. Même après réinstallation !
