Try:
echo "options iwlwifi swcrypto=1" | sudo tee
/etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi_fix.conf > /dev/null
Reboot to test. If this doesn't fix things or makes things worse then
run:
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi_fix.conf
and reboot again
