Thierry FAVRE confirmed that the question is solved:
Ok. I changed the internal Wifi card of the laptop and now the WLAN
works. It is a different card, that works with a different driver
(rtl8192ce), so I cannot be 100% sure that it was a hardware problem.
Thanks to all people that spent some time on this problem.
