We talked about this in the IRC chat room today, but I put all the steps I/we normally take when doing releases and announcing them to the world. It looks really long, but the general idea is to drive the roadmap to completion, send out an announcement, and gather the fruit from that over the 3-5 days after a release. And, importantly, keep the project growing and moving forward.
