i have some doubts about: why inherent widget had no limitations? why can you drop a table but not delete a record? in widgets.php see parse_select (line 1018) to see the difference between normal_select filter in widgets and inherent widgets, but note please that inherent select are parsed two times: when the parent widgets is parsed, and inherent widgets is rendered. roger
