did you test that on the latest aiki?
I tried both on ocal and aiki and it seems invalid to me. probably there is
another widget with the same url or the page need refresh
could you please recheck with new url and new widgets and see if this happen.

If you create a widget with address foo/bar save it and then change it
to baz/quux it will leave empty container (link) to foo/bar.
