Public bug reported: I'd like to describe the process of contribution on the Guidebook page:
1. You sign up to OFLB directly (no OAuth etc) 2. You sign up to Launchpad and join the Open Font Library Developers group 3. You create a htpasswd hash for your oflb username and email it to [email protected] (dl6 to file osuosl ticket for [email protected] to redirect to this) 4. We set your OFLB account with 'admin' status on the test site http://test.oflb.org (rejon to switch testvm2 and dl6 to set up oflb.org cname) 5. You make a bug explaining what you will fix, or a blueprint for a new feature to add 6. We confirm it (and you might mail the mailing list to discuss the topic) 7. You make your changes to the Aiki Widget as you wish 8. We review the change and push that to the live site. Aiki allows admins to see which widgets each user has edited, and track and version control ll changes in the database 9. You mark the bug as fixed ** Affects: openfontlibrary Importance: Critical Assignee: Dave Crossland (davelab6) Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: openfontlibrary Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: openfontlibrary Assignee: (unassigned) => Dave Crossland (davelab6) ** Changed in: openfontlibrary Milestone: None => 0.3 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Open Font Library Developers, which is subscribed to Open Font Library. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/782382 Title: Improve contribution documentation on Guidebook page Status in Open Font Library: Confirmed Bug description: I'd like to describe the process of contribution on the Guidebook page: 1.
