If you use the software to build a website, that may constitute a copyright violation if the proprietary license does not allow you "API" access, sold at a higher premium. "Modification" of software includes creating "combined works" - which are created by linking your code to the copyrighted code. Linking means interacting with the program in the same way it interacts with itself. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Aiki Framework Admins, which is subscribed to aikiframework. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/782399 Title: Aiki sites should be Affero compliant out of the box Status in Aiki Framework: New Bug description: Currently Aiki sites must make their code available by hand to comply with the license. I bet that most Aiki sites are out of compliance with the license. This is a SERIOUS problem. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~aikiframework.admins Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~aikiframework.admins More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
