The font in question is an OpenType (CFF) font, but I haven't discovered what particularly properties are keeping Firefox from rendering it.
The font is definitely on the server: http://openfontlibrary.org/assets/fonts/segment14/940123b0fa407377ac0957b9fc2ccfc1/237759fb17386935b43fea85708acea0/Segment14Regular.otf Both Midori and mobile Safari (i.e. WebKit) display the font correctly. I assume this is a bug in Firefox/Gecko. As this is not an Open Font Library bug per se, it is not possible to fix directly. However, if we release a @font-face generation feature it should address this problem: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/openfontlibrary/+spec/font-face- generator ** Changed in: openfontlibrary Status: New => Opinion -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Open Font Library Developers, which is subscribed to Open Font Library. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/789283 Title: Uploaded font not working with @font-face Status in Open Font Library: Opinion Bug description: I've just uploaded Segment14: http://openfontlibrary.org/font/segment14 I'm using Firefox 3.6.17 on Fedora 14, and I can't see the font at all; it displays using the serif fallback. Talking to cxadams, he can see this with Midori and Safari, but not with Firefox 4 on Ubuntu 10.10. He suggests this may be a Gecko issue. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~aikiframework.admins Post to : aikiframework.admins@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~aikiframework.admins More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
