You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jan Groenewald (jan-aims): When I installed Texmaker, it started using a dictionary /usr/share/myspell/dicts/en_GB.dic it should have used a dictionary from /usr/share/hunspell/ (ideally, it would have used, /usr/share/hunspell/en_US.dic since that is my default locale.)
See: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ConsolidateSpellingLibs Just changing the default path will work. Texmaker is now working fine using /usr/share/hunspell/en_US.dic I'm using: Ubuntu 12.04.1 texmaker package 3.2-1 ** Affects: texmaker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- Default dictionary is in wrong place https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1042886 You received this bug notification because you are a member of AIMS, which is subscribed to the bug report. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~aims Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~aims More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
