Hi Devs, I think we have following improvements to be done for GFac compare to previous GFac which is running on production.
1. Adding EC2 Provider and get it working with GFac (Later we need to support this to invoke using XBaya). 2. Add the extensions used in previous GFac to new one and make them work with samples/test cases. 3. Discuss about better output handling and support proper output handling in scenarios like StringArray outputs (use new parameter we have introduce in output Parameter type for regex). 4. Adding SSH provider to Schedular and make it working with proper architecture in XBaya side (How to send credentials..), currently we have SSHProvider but Schedular is not scheduling the SSHProvider. 5. Adding improvements like, allowing users to stop running jobs and kill running jobs etc.. Suresh, you might have more features to be added.. I am sending this email to keep track of what we need to do in future.. For next release we need to come up with a roadmap. This is just basic features we need to implement in GFac side of Airavata.
