Thanks for that post Dieter.  I don't live in Auckland, but am in full
support of those MRT's brave enough to do this.  Our department also got a
request to "help out" and cover during the strike, obviously they got no
response from Kiwi MRT's and now they have to try else where.  Surely the
cost of flying in staff from Aussie and paying accomodation etc would be
better put into settling the contract??  And all the money it's cost moving
patients to other hospitals for while the strike was on??
