Hi Liesal
We havenot started yet but our biggest obstacle seems to be Physics having
time to get it ready and wanting to go through and do a whole series on the
phantom before we start. We have had lots of talks about it and probably
will not volume the total volume while the patient lays on the bed but work
out the parameters of the volume and from that take an isocentre which we
will move the lasers to and tattoo. Any other adjustments except when the
RO changes their mind by huge amounts will be done with assymetric jaws. We
have lateral stationary lasers and a moving sagittal. The bed movement on
our CT is as fine and as accurate as the machine beds.
We hope to start in the next few weeks.
Marcia

Subject: [AIRNEWS] Virtual Simulation Advice

Hi All,

Just wondering if those of you out there with "Virtual Sim" experience could
pass on any tips or pitfalls with this work practice.
Any teething problems encountered during your transition from Sim to Virtual
Sim?
We're looking at replacing our 16 year old Simulator with a dedicated CT
scanner.
We have a 3-D planning & Visualisation System.

Look forward to hearing from you.
