Hello, all.

I heard recently that a radiotherapy department in WA is introducing spotter's fees to lure new staff. It seems that existing radiation therapists will be paid $2000 if they manage to poach staff from other practices.

Whilst I applaud lateral thinking in solving our staff shortages, I think it is appalling that we encourage this somewhat sneaky behaviour within our own profession. We need to find practical solutions to ease shortages, but robbing Peter to pay Paul is not the answer.
