AIRNEWERS should be warned not to be sucked in by these scams. I saw a news bulletin
the other evening warning that they are linked to identity theft and even threats of
kidnapping and violence.

We apologise for annoyance caused by recent spam such as this morning's posting
purporting to be from Dr Billy Agu. Jim de Jong is working with Connect to prevent
such abuse. It may be that the AIR has to moderate the list. There would be no
censorship but just delays to ensure that only postings consistent to the purposes of
Airnews reach subscribers.
