Please forward your latest resumes to [email protected] *Position: Senior Developer* *Locaton: NYC, NY* *Duration: 6 Months* ** *The Alternative Investments and Manager Selection group is made up of over 200 investment professionals in New York, London, San Francisco, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Bangalore.**The AIMS Technology team is currently 26 people located across New York and London. The AIMS group manages funds and separate accounts made up of other funds (funds of funds). * *The group does manager selection, operational due diligence, risk management, portfolio construction and client reporting.Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in the securities business, with Hedge Funds product knowledge a plus, but not required. General broad securities knowledge a plus as well. Must have strong analytical and communications skills, and must be able to operate independently, interacting daily with users, peers, and management. Required technical skills are listed below. Role will consist of gathering specifications, doing design, code, test, and implementation of systems in support of the AIMS business. The candidate will also become part of the regular support rotation, spending 1 week every 5-6 weeks on support for user queries and nightly batch processes. Likely 3-6 month project will include development work supporting the hedge fund platform, building an aggregation layer of external hedge fund manager positions for daily risk and performance analytic reporting.
