Client is looking for a *Configuration and Maintenance Manager - Baltimore, MD/ Norfolk, VA/ Oakland, CA*. This is a *12 Month Contract Position*. The hourly rate is DOE. US Citizens and green card holders are highly preferred. *Local candidates only* *Duties/responsibilities:* · Attend and actively participate in meetings as applicable/assigned by the COTR. · Create training aids and desk guides as required. Both of the FTE at the SFLC will develop, load, and verify configuration data for ordnance and electronic systems/equipment, using the Ships Configuration Logistics Information System (SCLSIS) or Fleet Logistics System (FLS) as required. · Create Ordnance CIFDs in FLS – includes entering property values such as APL, P/N, etc. · Assist in creation and sustainment of an ordnance system/equipment “bridge” between FLS and SCLSIS. · Assist in the conduct of onboard validations of ordnance and electronic systems/equipments – (travel expected). · Provide logistics business role training for FLS to Weapons Assist Team (WAT) and Maintenance Assist Team (MAT) members (or equivalent) including the following subtasks – (travel expected). · Develop documentation using the Coast Guard Standard Workstation III or Government supplied computer with compatible software. · Attend and actively participate in meetings as applicable/assigned by the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR). · Monitor, manage, maintain, recommend, edit and incorporate comments, updates and/or changes to documentation, as approved and/or directed by the COTR. · Prepare and deliver completed copies of all documentation in media compatible with the Coast Guard Standard Image. · Prepare and deliver training on logistics systems processes and systems to government personnel on a regular schedule and on an ad hoc basis. · Training topics, attendance records and trainee critiques should be recorded and reported in a format agreed upon with the COTR. *Minimum Qualifications:* · Qualified personnel to perform all requirements in this task within the Period of Performance specified. This PWS requires subject matter expertise in the areas of Configuration and Maintenance Management as well as the Coast Guard logistics business processes, systems and data. Two Configuration Management Analysts. · User knowledge of MS Office 2003 to include Word, Excel, and Access · Basic knowledge of ship terminology (e.g., Port, Starboard, Bow, Stern, etc.) · Ability to learn new software applications · Ability to work as team member · Knowledge of FLS, SCLSIS, and Naval Engineering Supply Support System (NESSS) is highly preferred · Prior configuration management, electronic systems or military experience is highly preferred · The work will be classified. Secret security clearance is required. · Release of information generated by and/or for the Coast Guard shall not be allowed without prior written consent of the Contracting Officer detailing the exact nature of the information involved and the reason(s) for its release. *Required Deliverables:* · Project Plan. The Contractor shall provide a draft Project Plan that includes detailed methodology & implementation plan to meet all PWS objectives. · Monthly Summary. During the first week of the month, the Contractor shall prepare and submit a Monthly activity report describing the work performed the previous month. The report must, at a minimum, include the title of each document worked on, the training topic(s) delivered, training location(s) the numbers of employees trained and the percentage of completion of the task(s) reported. Monthly reports shall be submitted in a format and media agreeable to the Coast Guard; usually a document attached to an email to the COTR. · Quality Control Plan (QCP). A draft QCP shall be delivered for government review and approval within two weeks of the contract start date.
