Job Title: Business Objects Project Leader Location:Owings Mills, MD Duration:1 yr. contract (with possibility of extension) It is preferable to have experience working with stored procedures vs. universes within the Business Objects reports *Description:* This project is to upgrade from Business Objects 6.5.1 to XIr3, as well as upgrading a third-party report scheduling system while expanding server capacity to handle overnight reporting growth. The upgrade also includes implementing a new Security Model, assisting with transitioning users away from Desktop Intelligence to Web Intelligence, coordinating training with SAP for ~850 users on the new release. Working under general direction of the Project Manager, the Project Lead will lead a complex internal system integration/implementations from inception to execution, often providing post-implementation support. Accountable for the development, implementation and execution of project and makes recommendations regarding project resources and budget. Relies on project management and consulting skills to work with business partners, vendors, peers, and senior managers across the firm to achieve results. Manages full project life cycle from inception to execution, to final customer acceptance, and adoption with the affected business unit(s). *Skill Set:* Business Objects, version 6.x - Expert (5+ years) Business Objects, version 3.x - Senior (3-5 years) Project Management - Senior (3-5 years) Business Objects Infrastructure/Architecture - Senior (3-5 years) Security Model Design/Implementation - Senior (3-5 years) Training - Intermediate (1-3 years).
