Kindly send resumes to m...@rgbsi.com Position: Programmer Analyst - Java Location: Willoughby Hills, OH Duration: 5 Months (Contract) Rate: Open *Primary Functions:* - This position involves the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications and modules for custom Java and J2EE based projects. - Project work will involve working independently or on small Agile teams. - Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency working with Oracle based web applications running on application servers. - The ability to design and develop database server-side code is a desirable. - Demonstrated ability to reverse engineer existing Java-based applications and determine and deploy modifications and enhancements is necessary. - The candidate must have excellent interpersonal, customer, communication, and problem solving skills. - Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, change direction and methods, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and drive to quickly and accurately complete tasks. *Essential Functions:* - *Requirements Definition:* Translates business, customer and supplier needs into business requirements. - Creates technical requirements based on knowledge of business process and recommend business process change. - Will often review and approve the appropriate requirements. - *Analysis, Design, and Construction:* Analyzes applications and solutions in terms of Company’s business and IT Strategic fit. - Reviews system and project designs and makes recommendations for business and IT strategic fit. - Reviews and makes recommendations regarding the designs/solutions offered by team members. - *Testing:* Creates and maintains test environments.
