To do this, the candidate should be able to troubleshoot, debug and solve technology integration and performance problems. IT will be necessary for the candidate to collaborate with Architects to ensure that the products and components work together, meet defined standards, and meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements. The candidate shall be a good team player, and be able to communicate with customers to work on functional and technical requirements. *Preference will be given to experience in the following areas* · Manufacturing Functional Domain · Application Integration · Intranet/Internet Sites · Web and Application Security · Performance · Quality · Operational Aspects * * *The required technical skills are as follows: * 1. Sound knowledge in J2EE 2. IBM Web Sphere Portal development work (Prefer 6.x or higher); includes Administration, LDAP, Domino, RDBMS, Web/HTTP 3. Good understanding of the J2EE design patterns 4. Have sound experience with most of: JSP, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Servlets, JDBC, JMS, JAXB, JDOM, AJAX, XML; XSLT and Web Services technology 5. Be self starter in developing new technical skills; be able to demonstrate strong technical growth 6. Be proficient in the use of software development tools (IBM Rational Application Developer, Clear Case, Clear Quest) and techniques in software projects 7. Communicate effectively with clients, with team members and with management as needed 8. Be at a level of having in-depth knowledge of listed skills, be able to perform independently and give direction to others.
