Rate no issue Location : San Jose CA Build and Release Engineer (look for SCM (Software Configuration Management) profile such as: Maven/SVN/Apache Tomcat, Unix, Networkng, and installer etc. 1) Job Responsibilities: a) Respond to Service request as per the defined support process b) Understand how the service delivery platform works from a technical perspective in order to rapidly identify issue root causes and resolve them c) Perform build and maintain engineering build and deployment scripts d) Provide engineering release management operations e) If necessary, draw upon other sources of information (knowledge of programming languages and methodologies, source code, intranet developer forums, vendor solution bases etc) to analyze the root cause of escalated issues f) Work with lab support engineer to plan and maintain various integration and demo environment. g) Review the results of the system monitoring on a daily basis and initiating action on automated system alerts h) Work with other solution and vertical engineering for integration projects Skill Set required. a) Strong scripting language such as Python or Perl is required b) Experience with Maven is desired c) Strong understanding of Configuration management systems such as Subversion, CVS, or ClearCase. d) Understanding of J2EE (Java/XML) is desired Thanks, Raj singh | SimpliOn - Great Results.
