Build/Release Test Engineer
Location(State/city):Illinois IL/CHICAGO
Duration: 6+ months
Responsible :
-Software builds -Software releases -Administering
the group's SCM system, ClearCase -Managing various testing system
environments Requirements:
. Advanced Unix shell experience
. Moderate to advanced shell scripting skills
. Moderate to advanced PERL scripting skills
. Experience working in large distributed networks
. Experience achieving results both while working alone and with others in a
dynamic team-oriented environment.
. Experience writing build scripts in Make or Ant
. Experience configuring/managing/supporting a large, distributed system
. Experience in change control, release management and business continuity
planning.
. Exposure to source control management systems such as ClearCase or CVS In
addition, the following skills are desirable:
. Experience managing a small group of support analysts
. Experience in process improvement planning and coordination
. Exposure to database queries & programming in Sybase or Oracle
. Experience working with large software development teams
. Experience with Windows desktop scripting
. Experience with deployment technologies such as Java WebStart, ADT,
Castanet Tuner
Additional Information:
The Margin Management IT team
develops and maintains a Collateral Management and Reporting system. The
system is used for the calculation of margin of OTC Derivative, Repo,
Financing and FX products. It is a cross-product system that assimilates
feeds from across the bank, representing over half of the banks traded
products. Members of this team work closely with Global Collateral
Management, as well as traders from all business areas, trade support and
business development analysts to provide global solutions for varied
business requirements. The team has just completed the final stages of a
rewrite to the margin system. The system is the basis of the next-generation
margin management system.
