Five years of experience in operational engineering or production support in a multi-platform environment (Unix/Wintel/Mainframe) . Familiarity with the Synchrony (B2B managed file transfer system) environment and related components . UNIX skills are essential (Solid Understanding of the Unix operating environment, proficient with shell utilities) . Strong experience with Integration Technology is a plus . Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve problems are desired . Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment Responsibilities: . Provide Application and Infrastructure Production Support o Lead efforts to ensure ongoing operational readiness of the SFT environment o Provide efficient, timely, and accurate production support to SFT Financial Reporting Applications and the respective infrastructure o Resolve issues and conduct root cause analysis in a timely manner o Provide leadership and technical directions for IT services such as License Management and Change Management . Provide Cross Functional Support Across Platforms to include Synchrony o Install Synchrony and Connect:Direct components on Fannie Mae assets o Troubleshoot and resolve defects o Coordinate changes with Internal as well as External Customers o Lead efforts with migrations, upgrades, and patches on Fannie Mae assets .
