Position Description:
This position requires a college degree, preferably in Computer Science, or
equivalent experience. At least 6 years of practical experience in software
testing and quality assurance. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of
financial applications, data, S&P products and business.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical skills, strong technical ability and
strong time management skills. Detail-oriented, organized with excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of test planning, testing methodologies, QA
analytical techniques, and software testing tools.
• Demonstrates in-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle,
quality assurance concepts, and manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proven project management, mentoring/coaching in the use of testing
methodologies, and specialized product and technical knowledge including QTP,
LoadRunner, SQL, programming languages, and office automation software
including MS Office.
• Has proven leadership experience and the ability to work with business
partners to understand their requirements.
. Experience with SQL, ETL testing, Perl Scripting is a plus
