Here are 10 openings to create a team of Tandem consultants. They are looking
for a variety of consultants ranging from Developers, Programmers, and Analysts
(about 3 of each), that are very strong working with Tandem Operating System.
These candidates will have atlease two years of recent Tandem experience.
Other experience required:
Cobol, SCobol, SQL, Enscribe, Pathway. Other keywords that are associated may
be TACL. Rates will range with each position and years of experience, one rate
cannot be given as a variety of contractors with different levels of experience
are needed. Kohl's will be able to hire off a phone screen and video
conference. Local candidates are preferred but not necessary.

Position Purpose :
Software development to build new and extend existing applications running on
Tandem NonStop Systems.
Essential Responsibilities
* Assist in software testing, release planning and management, and production
maintenance so that internal quality standards are met
* Assist in evaluating and recommending architecture alternatives including
platforms, messaging systems, web servers, RDMS alternatives, and development
tools
* Work closely with Product Management and other departments to help define
project requirements and offer technical implications of project decisions

Position Qualifications
Education: Computer Science Degree preferred
Job Related Experience
At least 2 years Tandem, HP/ Tandem experience. Keywords: enscribe, cobol
