This is my direct client opening for *Analog Circuit Analysis - Redondo
Beach, CA*. This is a 3+ Months contract position. The Hourly rate is $DOE.
*Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the CA area.*
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is at the Worst Case Scenario analysis & testing stage of their
current circuit design phase and is preparing for customer review at the end
of the year. The consultant will perform Worst Case analysis and
verification of existing circuit designs for the power system to confirm
that they will meet their design specifications over a lifetime and provide
an adequate margin of functionality and performance at their end of life.
REQUIREMENTS
· Experience performing: "Worst Case" Analysis on analog circuits
("Worst Case Scenario" is a risk analysis that creates scenarios that extend
to the end of the life of the circuit. Sometimes called "end of life"
analysis as well. This confirms that a circuit will perform to its
specifications all of the way out to the very end of it's life. Which is
handy to know when you have a space vehicle that is billions of miles from
earth.
· DC to DC power conversion experience
PLUSES:
· Analog Circuit Design
· High efficiency power switching technology experience
· Power processing or power supply experience
· Knowledge of magnetics and analog design
· Hardware Testing Expertise (Big plus)
· High reliability design experience
· Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) experience
· Experience/understanding of designing for the effects of
radiation.
There is the possibility of someone working offsite, but they would have to
be an excellent fit. They would need to be onsite the first few days of the
project to familiarize them with the process / designs and then at the end
to present their analysis. Of course there would be benchmarks in the
interim.
