This is a long term 3+ year project with direct client. Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan Immediate interviews The Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) Daily Business Intelligence (DBI) Analyst is the functional expert and subject matter expert for these critical management tools. He/she will provide recommendations on setups to capture information for Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and changes in process. In addition, this person will be strong in resolving problems in the data and system. This functional expert will be able to work in a team of other functional experts who will represent their own parts of the business, as well as technical (programming) members. This team will be accountable to assure that the eBusiness Suite modifications, set ups and future Oracle releases are the correct solutions for the company. *Experience: * Candidate must have strong comprehensive consultation to the business in the use of Oracle Daily Business Intelligence. Able to providing hands on analysis and work with the technical (programming) team. Confirming business assumptions and validating business rules in the eBusiness Suite set ups for divisions/departments. Oversee analysis and testing of new releases of the product, as well as determining the appropriateness of future functionality. Completing projects efficiently and effectively. Effectively communicating status to peers, management, and other departments. Documenting requirements utilizing best practices. Assure integration of all peripheral systems *Key Responsibilities:* Gather and analyze information for setting up DBI screens, resolving problems and questions for the managers of the businesses. Conduct analysis, design activities, and evaluate alternate approaches to provide solutions. Conduct, with power users, testing of new modules/patches. Develop work plans to ensure timely completion of all phases of small to medium size projects. Assist users by answering functionality questions and follow-up on any software-related problems. *Minimum Requirements for Consideration: * 3+ years of Oracle eBusiness Suite functional experience, with 1+ year working with DBI. Proven skills: Interpersonal skills, Problem Analysis and Resolution, Team Building and Mentoring, Technology Analysis and Selection, Management of Time-lines and Budgets, Attention to Process and Procedure. Functional Knowledge of Oracle eBuisiness Suite as appropriate for this role, Oracle ERP Distribution R 11i or later (OE/OM, PM, PO, INV, SHP) Oracle Financial R 11i or later (GL, AP, AR, FA, Trading Community Architecture).
