Hello, This is for my direct client opening for *Java and xml developer with 3 plus yrs at Cambridge, MA*. This is a *Long Term* Contract Position and the rate range is open. Their will be an *In-Person Interview.*
Hourly rate is OPEN *Local Candidates only* *Phone screen and in-person* * * *Project Overview:* *This hiring manager is an excellent judge of people – he is picky about whom he phone screens but once he does a phone screen he has a greater than 50% track record of hiring the candidate.* This is a very young team – we've hired several recent grads and they are fantastic – others like them would be a good fit for this team – need meticulous creative people – here is a sample of the caliber of work that the team is doing (excerpt from an email last week): I wanted to update you on what we have been up to in Services recently. This week, we have had 4 releases. One site is one of the most heavily trafficked web sites in the world, and another is an educational startup that is doing something with our players that is dramatically different than most customers. As with all Proserv projects, the whole team helped out with each project, so a big thanks to everyone for launching these sites. 1 . New York Times – Yesterday marked the launch of the New York Times homepage player ( <http://www.nytimes.com/>http://www.nytimes.com/), which is a tremendous accomplishment in terms of visibility and traffic, especially this time of year with the economy and the eve of a presidential election. 2 . OMS – for OMS, the services team created a portal generator based on OMS's requirements. As some of you may know, OMS is a group of regional newspapers in Germany. The generator allows the owners of OMS' many newspapers to create a video portal and change colors of the player (using BEML behind the scenes). Here is an example link of a live portal: <http://www.augsburger-allgemeine.de/Home/regid,2_puid,2_pageid,11154.html> http://www.augsburger-allgemeine.de/Home/regid,2_puid,2_pageid,11154.html The search inside of the player is another creative use of BEML as well. 3. U.S. Department of State - ( <http://www.state.gov/video/> http://www.state.gov/video/). This was Brian's first project, and he knocked it out of the park with a very aggressive timeline. Check out the fancy navigation when you click around the site. *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.** * Full Name: Degree major: Total IT experience: Total Java developer Experience: Total experience with large scale consumer web application: Do you have CERTIFICATION in Java?
