  Job Description & Required skills: 
  Degree / College Major:  BS in Comp Science or Business Admin

   ITIL Foundations certification required; 

  Practitioners preferred.Manages, co-ordinates and reports upon the delivery 
of Application Services with global and regional supply groups to Application 
Lifecycle Managers or other appropriate business area contacts.
  Major Responsibilities:
  · Responsible for ensuring those services provided by internal or external 
groups meet agreed customer service levels.
  · Provides a generic Service Management capability in order to maintain 
operational and management excellence across broad application areas.  
  · Ensures that service management tools and processes are implemented in 
accordance with standards and procedures for all assigned applications and 
services.
  · Work closely with the supplier groups, governance bodies and Application 
Lifecycle Managers to ensure a seamless, coordinated service environment.
  · Respond to day-to-day customer service issues, escalating and reporting on 
progress/plans for service improvement.
  · Provides consistent interface into stakeholder and support groups including 
Q&C, Hubs, Architecture and external suppliers.
  · Owns and develops the end to end Service and Support Model and its processes
  · Reports performance and cost to System Owners to ensure that agreed Service 
Levels are met.
  · Drives efficiency and effectiveness through Service Improvement 
Initiatives, potentially including Cost management.
  · Co-ordinates compliance related processes (e.g. Manages Change/Change 
Control Board, Qualification, decommissioning).
  · Co-ordinates the gathering of requirements in accordance with documented 
processes.
  · Provides performance metrics to GDD-IS Stakeholders, System Owner or 
nominated recipients·

   Analyzes performance, capacity and availability data and incident history to 
identify problems and root causes. 
  · Analyzes future requirements and identifies any capacity risks with current 
infrastructure.
  · Owns OLA and SLAs and alignment with Service Catalogue.  

  Owns contract of SLA with System owner and GDD-IS and forms part of the 
application management team assembled by GDD-IS. 
   Undertakes and publishes results of customer satisfaction and scorecard 
information
