Job Description & Required skills:
Position involves administering Hyperion environment with SQL back-end.
Hyperion supports the entire Corporate Financial Reporting for CIT. In the
absence of dedicated support, CIT risks losing financial reports in the event
of a system outage.
Oversee architecture and administration of multiple database and
business intelligence platforms - MS-SQL server clustering and Hyperion
administration.
Interface with and coordinate tasks with the ODC (Offshore
Delivery Center)
Technical lead for multiple database and BI platforms - MS-SQL
Server 2005 and Hyperion 9.3.2.
Establish standards and procedures for database & BI
administration and database & BI development per best practices
Establish database architectures per best practices
Ensure backup and recovery requirements for applications are
satisfied
Ensure ODC compliance with established standards & procedures
Ensure application development compliance with established
standards & procedures
Automate batch scripts using Control-M scheduling
Evaluate available database patches and releases, advise on
implementation paths
Participate in product evaluation and R&D
Plan, document and participate in disaster recovery tests
Participate in 24X7 on-call administration support of database
environment.
