*Job Description:* Description of Position Duties: . Candidate will perform technical testing of software products while working closely with development and product management throughout the software life cycle. . Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. . Writes and maintains functional, regression, and performance automated tests using industry tools. . Analyze, document, and report test results to QA Manager, Product Management and Development. . Manage QA Environments, including User Acceptance Testing site. . Assists in analysis of project requirements and design. . Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. . Good communications skills. . A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Position Requirements (Education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, licenses, certification, etc.) 4+ years experience in a Software Quality Assurance role. 3+ years of experience in Linux/Unix server environments. 3+ years experience with manual testing, testing tools, and writing test plans 3+ years experience using relational databases (Oracle, SqlServer, Mysql) 2+ years experience using software revision control system (VSS, CVS) 2+ years experience with defect tracking systems Experience automating test scripts Good understanding of distributed, web, database and client-server software. Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies and the entire SDLC. Experience in a banking environment and/or knowledge of financial data processing a plus.
