Job Description & Required skills:
a.. candidates must have mobile background and understand carriers,
different handsets and operating systems
b.. these people will come out of mobile companies such as Infospace,
Helio, Amped ETC..
c.. these are engineers-not web developers
d.. Must have PHP or JAVA---both would be great
e.. Should understand agile and scrum
f.. Primary duty= will be creating tools and doing tool set up for manual
processes
g.. Experience with subversion and track is a big plus
Qualifications/Requirements:
a.. PHP and Java knowledge is required with expertise in at least one or
the other
b.. Portfolio of work that shows experience in aforementioned skills
c.. Knowledge of XML, XHTML, Unix, Linux, MySQL, C++, C, and .Net is
desired
d.. Ability to manage several projects and adapts quickly and accurately
under direction of others
e.. Ability to work autonomously towards agreed upon goals
f.. Self-motivated, creative, and driven to learn new skills that apply to
refining the role
Description
The Mobile Video Engineer is primarily responsible for the creation,
packaging, and delivery of all mobile products, mainly video. Duties include,
but are not limited to content management, quality control, and content
delivery. The Mobile Video Engineer will facilitate with the delivery of all
mobile products to our various mobile partners and devices.
Responsibilities:
a.. Refine delivery processes by creating tools and automation
b.. Accountable for delivery quality of assigned projects
c.. Keeps abreast of, and utilizes, current and emerging technologies to
ensure content and processes remains state-of-the-art
d.. Works closely with management to maximize delivery and production
efficiencies
e.. Review product delivery performance and suggest recommendations to
management and partners and implement solutions
f.. Responsible for other mobile projects as assigned by management
