Hi partner, Please let me know, If you have any suitable consultants available on the below urgent requirement Title : Data Center Project Manager Location : Minneapolis, MN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 6 months Required Skills Data Center Project Manager Security Troubleshoot KVM Client is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager. This resource will be required to perform the following duties: Purchasing Submit requests (via email) to buy data center equipment such as: server cabinets, KVMs, fiber edge switches, sticky mats etc. Maintain a stock of miscellaneous supplies such as tie wraps, Velcro, tools, cables, spare cabinet parts. Purchase vendor services such as electrical, data center cleaning Building Systems and Equipment Monitor UPS kW usage and record findings in a spreadsheet Monitor cooling capacity and record findings in a spreadsheet Monitor PDU power and breaker capacity and record findings in a spreadsheet Update CAD drawings of data center equipment such as server cabinets, racks, floor tiles, PDUs, cooling units and ladder racking Request power installations and provide locations and type of receptacles needed Ensure raised floor tile gaskets are maintained and grommets are installed as needed Monitor copper and fiber switch port capacity Manage patch panel capacity and ensure new patch panels are installed as needed Uncrate, assemble and position all server cabinets. Install server cabinet PDUs, plug strips, KVMs and KVM switches Install network gear and all non-Wintel/Sun servers Troubleshoot KVM problems Request installation of ladder racking as required Perform weekly walkthroughs to inspect data center-related items on a checklist. Fire Suppression Enforce Data Center After-Hours Work Policy such as when below floor and above ceiling work, load and no-load generator tests, UPS & cooling unit maintenance can occur. Request approval and schedule all work mentioned above. Shut down halon by following the documented procedure. Understand documented fire fighting procedures. IDF Closets Perform weekly walkthroughs to inspect data center-related items on a checklist Program all keypad codes and troubleshoot any keypad issues such as dead batteries Data Center Work Requests Monitor Data Center Facilities Work Request queue via Customer's Intranet site. Fulfill equipment installation requests which include installing cable and tasking Customer's Network Services for IP addresses & port activation. Fulfill equipment move requests through Customer's work request system. Fulfill data center equipment decommission requests through work request system. View and create changes in Manage Now work order system. Security Escort vendors and non-cardholders into the data center as needed. Enforce Raised Floor Access Rules & Regulations for Vendors & Visitors without Data Center Training such as no food, no cardboard etc. The work must be done on site and rates are all inclusive.
