Job Description & Required skills:
Ø Configuration and installation of hardware/software environment
Ø Establishment of system environment to support redundant download of
escrowed application code, databases, files, and version control
Ø Design, development, testing and implementation of data and files
extract processes
Ø Development of Quick Quote queries and reports as defined by business
owner.
Required Qualifications
Ø Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification
Ø 5+ years configuration and installation of Windows-based servers and
Operating Systems.
Ø 5+ years server, software and hardware support experience - Support
users and network services in Windows Server Systems (NT4, 2000, 2003) and
Desktop systems (Windows XP).
Ø Thorough understanding of infrastructure services such as multiple
Active Directory domains, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, and IIS.
Ø Extensive hands on experience with Symantec Backup Exec.
Ø Experience in racking and physically installing server hardware and
peripheral devices.
Ø Experience in Windows workstation and server Patch Management using WSUS
or other tools.
Ø 3+ years systems analysis and programming experience
Ø Ability to relate technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
Ø Capable of logical analysis for problem determination.
Ø Self motivated.
Ø Experience working in a team environment
Ø Experience in training technical users
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ø Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
Ø Disciplined to meet time constraints and deadlines
Bachelor's degree in computer science or business, or equivalent experience.
Cisco management (routers, switches, firewalls)
Oracle 10g
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005
