Contract Title: Senior System Analyst, SQL Server
Contract Location: Santa Clara, CA
Contract length: 3 to 12 months
Project Description:
Critical work on Chelan County backend database design, part of tools to
support shipping product, super complex designs / nested joints/correlated
subqueries, data model refactoring.
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
a.. Clear understanding of Star Schema Concepts.
b.. Strong SQL skills in SQL server environment. Must be able to read complex
stored procedures with multiple table joins, comprehend, and isolate areas
problems. Not required to write code to correct the problem.
c.. Highly proficient in using Excel to create Pivot tables, and accessing
multidimensional cubes from Excel.
d.. Very good English language verbal and writing skills. Must have proven
skills writing technical documents in English.
e.. Demonstrated skills in creating test cases based on blackbox, white box,
and use-case testing methodologies.
f.. Demonstrated skills in gather business requirements and translating into
technical requirements
g.. Demonstrated skills in leading test and validation of star schemas
h.. Experience in a structured software development methodology.
i.. Must be willing and able to work at the code level, as well as work with
customers.
j.. Will work on multiple projects at one time
k.. Enough knowledge to use SSAS cubes
