requirement.
Requested Titles: Programmer / Analyst
Work Location: TAMPA, FL
Duration: 4 months
Need an In-person interview, after initial phone screen
Required Skills:
. Analysis, AS/400, Cobol, DB2, RPG, RPGLE, SQL
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, including at least three
years of programming RPG400 (and AS400 CL and ILE)
· Experience with RPGIV programming and SQL/400, AS400 COBOL, Data Warehouse
environments, Excel and importing data from the AS/400, using FTP protocols.
· Strong analysis and design experience
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and work
closely with customers and extended project team members
· PC experience including Windows and Microsoft Word
· Self-starter with the ability to learn through on the job experience. be a
team player
Desired/Optional Skills:
· Knowledge of Life Insurance and/or Telemarketing systems and applications.
· Application package experience (especially IMA's Telemar and Genelco's
LSP).
· Experience in an AS400 and/or IBM Mainframe environment.
· Programming knowledge in RPG, Visual Basic and COBOL
Duties/Activities:
· Interact with customers and other Systems department personnel to design,
develop and maintain business applications that effectively support the
business customers.
· Assist with the analysis and/or design of business systems.
· Prepare portions of design documents for large-scale projects, and
programming specifications from general specifications and data ware house
programming.
· Research and recommend file designs and record structure and design
efficient, debugged and documented program code.
· Develop and test programs and system enhancements using internal
development languages (i.e., RPG, RPG ILE, etc.)
· Multiple platform (PC, AS400 and Mainframe) support.
· Research and assist in the resolution of system problems
