We currently have an opening in *Basking Ridge, New Jersey* for *a Project
Manager* with strong drive and experience in consulting, management and
application lifecycle development. This position will require the ability to
manage and grow an account portfolio for an organization that specializes in
business and IT consulting for the telecommunications and government
markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales,
business, an consulting with thorough understanding of the software
development life cycle process and methods.

The candidate must maintain connections to business unit staff procurement
and assignment processes in order to rapidly expand business. The candidate
must clearly understand the business units' strategic directions, as well as
the Company's overall strategy, in order to make appropriate decisions
regarding risks and opportunities.

*Responsibilities:*

   - Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
   - Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
   - Develop and cultivate new client relationships
   - Leverage relationships to develop a sales pipeline
   - Work with business units to realize sales opportunities
   - To present the company's position to prospective and existing clients
   in a professional and consistent manner
   - Identify opportunities to grow the business and put the appropriate
   business development plans in place
   - Executive-level client interaction
   - Advise client executives on decisions and risks that affect the entire
   engagement Shape client expectations with respect to the engagement
   - Make tradeoffs aligned with Company and client objectives
   - Address cross-project dependencies
   - Maintain a high-level integrated view of engagement-wide results
   - Address the key risks that threaten an engagement
   - Focus on risks that span projects or that originates outside the scope
   of particular projects. For example, engagement managers make sure that the
   client organization takes appropriate steps to implement organizational
   changes associated with project deliverables.

*Qualifications:*

*The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:*

   - Executive presence: Proven experience establishing and maintaining
   connections with the most senior levels of a client organization; dealing
   with client executives as peers and being perceived as such
   - Excellent Communication skills: Excellent listening, speaking, writing
   and presentation skills are required
   - Ability to craft and deliver solutions: 7-10+ years of steadily
   increasing responsibility delivering complex systems and software solutions;
   consulting experience is a plus
   - Practical sales experience: Several years managing and growing a
   multi-million dollar account or portfolio of accounts
   - Business orientation: Comfortable with plans, finances, contracts, and
   negotiations
   - Excellent consulting and interpersonal skills
   - Excellent business development skills
   - Ability to travel to client sites (up to 100% travel)
   - Self-learner, committed to self development
   - Strong problem solving skills
   - A four-year college degree and/or relevant work experience
   - Demonstrated at least three successful delivery of complex IT projects
   to production
   - Demonstrated increasing/progressive responsibility culminating in
   leading complex IT effort of 20+ people
   - Demonstrated team management leadership in two different aspects of
   development (requirements, development, testing, and production support)
   - Excellent project management and leadership skills
   - Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations and can perform
   crisis management
   - Demonstrated ability to work with offshore development teams
   - Demonstrated knowledge of the business processes for telecommunications
   companies in at least 2 areas (provisioning/ordering, billing, collections,
   network management, and operations)
   - Demonstrated knowledge of telecom in at least one of the following:
   wire line, cable, and broadband
   - Demonstrated knowledge of telecom managing Wireless projects
   - Demonstrated problem solving ability - must be able to think/create
   system solutions to solve business problems



Key Skills:

1- Client facing skills are a must.  I have a superior level of oral and
written communication in the English language.

2- The candidate must have Technical Telecommunication experience.  Can
demonstrate knowledge of telecom managing Wireless projects.

3- I have 8+ years of steadily increasing responsibility delivering complex
systems and software solutions.

3- Consulting experience is a must

4- The candidate must have experience and thorough understanding of the SDLC

5- I can demonstrate that I have had increasing/progressive responsibility
culminating in leading complex IT efforts of 20+ people.

6- I have executive presence: proven experience establishing and maintaining
connections with the most senior levels of a client organization; dealing
with client executives as peers and being perceived as such.
